for Good Health!

Hi. I'm Dr. Mubin Syed and I am passionate about improving the health of South Asians around the world. 


We as a community are in a health crisis, but most South Asians don't know it. 

We are at high risk for heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and other diseases.

It is partly due to our habits and choices like poor diets, high stress, and not enough exercise or sleep. 

But more and more research shows that there's an underlying influence -- genetic adaptations from our ancestors having survived famines during the colonial period that led to predispositions for disease.


Despite our difficult health history, we can create a "new normal" for South Asian health.
